In the course of only 7 weeks Benz & Ziegler designed - from concept and construction all the way to the grand opening – the exhibition stand for the automobile company BYTON, in collaboration with the Lead Agency VOK DAMS Events GmbH.
Under the motto ‘Your Platform for Life’, the innovative global company, with Headquarters in China, revealed to the public for the first time the Prototype M-Byte.
The exhibition idea focused on the concepts of Connectivity and Digital Functionality. The 48-inch BYTON stage display creates a new type of communication and networking. This central space was the starting point of the stand concept, where the vehicle and a simulator, which was meant to display the digital functionality, formed the center.
The copper ropes, made of laminate or just painted, ran like a spatial network through the entire stand, which visually led the visitors into the world of BYTON.
The primary material used was wood décor laminate panels, whereas the floors were complimenting the scene in warm gray-colored fabrics. Copper and gray stood for the predominant colors in BYTON's corporate design.
At the back of the stand, which housed two meeting rooms, a screen was integrated, in accordance with the LED screen in the car’s dashboard, on which the innovations were shown. The spacious Showcase Lounge and Café bar were designed for press conferences and a lively exchange of information.
