Digital Coffee Shop
DMEXCO, Köln

The technology company, which specializes in measuring digital target groups and real-time advertising, offers an invisible service that accompanies our daily lifes all the time. Making the keywords measure & advertise visible and perceptible in brand architecture was therefore the basic idea behind brand architecture. The topic "constant presence in everyday situations" was logically told in a very common room: in the coffee shop.

The design of the Quantcast appearance was launched in 2015 and also presented at DMEXCO in 2016. In addition, it was built up several times at events in Stockholm or at the MWC in Barcelona or as a roof lounge for the Cannes Lions Festival. The typical interior of the urban bar or coffee room, usually dark and warm, is overlayed and contrasted: Coloured Plexiglas elements lie above the warm basic tone, welcoming visitors and creating luminous communication surfaces. In their formal language, they quote the ascent and descent of graphs created during measurements. The principle of layering, transparencies, the merging of materials and colours is continued down to the smallest detail.

The concept uses high-quality materials and surfaces that reflect seriousness without being old-fashioned: brickwall, metal mesh, exposed concrete, glass, blackened steel, dark oak, leather.

The so-called measure-tape, a stylized tape measure, is another element of the CI. In architecture, it is used playfully for discovery at second glance: It forms the outline of the monitors at the corners for the moving image content or is found as a punched out pattern in the metal passe-partout of the upper floor.
